Yuval (Yuvi) Adout, Dipl.CM, Herbalist.
After studying TCM and practicing in his private clinic in Israel, Yuval moved to the USA and is excited to use his knowledge of traditional Chinese herbology and the aid it can bring alongside acupuncture treatments.
He specializes in helping patients who are dealing with cancer, neurological and autoimmune disorders, but is nonetheless very passionate about helping all kinds of life’s issues.
Yuval sees human health as part of nature. He believes we all have the power to heal ourselves and find relief, but that sometimes we need a little “nudge” in the right direction with the help of classical Chinese herbology and nutrition.
Because of his experience working in the psycho-emotional field, Yuval also likes to incorporate supportive mind-body exercises into his practice, like breathing techniques, creative sensory exercises and more.
In his spare time he likes to read, run, travel/be close to nature and take care of his plants at home.

I founded Chicago Family Acupuncture in 2018 after many years in the integrative medicine space. I always knew I wanted to start my own practice to give my patients the highest level of compassion and care. It was when I started getting acupuncture in my early 20’s that I found my passion in holistic medicine. I loved the idea of finding the root cause of symptoms, and building loving therapeutic relationships helping people reconnect to their bodies and minds.
While living in New York City, I spent two years studying massage therapy and shiatsu. I call myself a “forever student” and knew I had to learn more about East Asian medicine. I spent the next five years in school at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine earning my Masters of Science in Acupuncture and a Doctorate in Acupuncture. I’ve spent the last few years building CFA, starting in a one room sublease in Evanston, to a two room clinic in a large pain management medical office in Glenview. We had long waitlists and outgrew our space, so we finally moved to our current location in Northbrook so we can serve more people like you.
As a passionate acupuncturist and clinic owner, my hands-down proudest accomplishment has been the close relationships we have built with our patients and their families.
When I’m not in the clinic, I’m busy raising 3 amazing kids with my husband Ari….and yes, I give them all acupuncture.
