Yuval Adout
Yuval (Yuvi) Adout, Dipl.CM, Herbalist.
After studying TCM and practicing in his private clinic in Israel, Yuval moved to the USA and is excited to use his knowledge of traditional Chinese herbology and the aid it can bring alongside acupuncture treatments.
He specializes in helping patients who are dealing with cancer, neurological and autoimmune disorders, but is nonetheless very passionate about helping all kinds of life’s issues.
Yuval sees human health as part of nature. He believes we all have the power to heal ourselves and find relief, but that sometimes we need a little “nudge” in the right direction with the help of classical Chinese herbology and nutrition.
Because of his experience working in the psycho-emotional field, Yuval also likes to incorporate supportive mind-body exercises into his practice, like breathing techniques, creative sensory exercises and more.
In his spare time he likes to read, run, travel/be close to nature and take care of his plants at home.

Dr. Zahava Berkowicz DAc
About Zahava Berkowicz, DAc
I’m Dr. Zahava Berkowicz, founder of IMMA Acupuncture & Wellness, a writer, speaker, lifelong student, and believer in the idea that we are far more capable of changing our lives than we think.
I found acupuncture in my early 20s and immediately fell in love with the way East Asian medicine looks at the whole person rather than simply chasing symptoms. I loved getting curious about the root of a problem, listening deeply, and helping people reconnect with their bodies and themselves.
That curiosity turned into a career. I earned my Master of Science in Acupuncture and Doctorate in Acupuncture from Pacific College of Health and Science. I’m board certified by the NCCAOM and, true to my identity as a “forever student,” I’m always learning something new.
My favorite style of acupuncture is the Balance Method, a unique system that uses acupuncture points on one part of the body to create powerful changes somewhere else. I love how effective, elegant, and surprisingly intuitive it can be.
I founded IMMA with a simple vision: to create a place where people receive exceptional care and feel genuinely seen, heard, and cared for. A place where we go above and beyond, where we take your health personally, where we’re deeply invested in getting you results, and where the relationship doesn’t feel transactional. We know our patients, we celebrate their wins, we support them through the hard stuff, and yes, sometimes we become friends along the way.
But over the years, my work has expanded beyond the treatment room.
After years of treating thousands of people, running a business, raising three kids, and doing plenty of my own inner work, I’ve become increasingly passionate about the bigger questions:
How do we become more self-aware?
How do we trust ourselves?
How do we take responsibility for our lives without blaming ourselves for everything?
How do we stop living on autopilot and start living with intention?
That’s what I love talking about.
Through IMMA, my writing, workshops, and speaking, I share ideas about wellness, personal growth, self-belief, Jewish spirituality, and the messy, beautiful work of becoming more fully ourselves.
I believe healing isn’t passive. We have agency. We can make different choices. We can change our minds. We can start again. And we don’t have to wait for someone else to give us permission.
Interested in having me speak at your next event or lead a workshop for your community, organization, or team? I’d love to hear from you. Email me at zahava@helloimma.com.
When I’m not working, I’m usually with my husband, Ari, and our three kids, attempting to keep everyone fed, reasonably organized, and somewhat entertained.
And yes, my kids have all received acupuncture.
They don’t appreciate this nearly as much as I do.
